About
Hartefeld is a subdivision of more than 300 detached single-family homes built throughout the Hartefeld National Golf Club in New Garden Township, southern Chester County. The 18-hole golf course was designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 1995, and residential construction by Bellevue Homes followed starting in the late 1990s with the bulk of homes completed circa 2002. The Hartefeld Homeowners Association maintains community common areas and provides residents access to a clubhouse, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and walking trails; golf membership at Hartefeld National is a separate, optional arrangement with the club operator.
